Second Biggest Diamond EVER Found... still no price?

You've probably heard of the extraordinarily massive diamond found last week in Botswana by Canadian mining company Lucara, but did you know that as of today, they still haven't released (at least not publicly!) a value on it?
Apparently some estimates are as high as $66 million for the 1,111 carat diamond! If only we could all find one of those in our backyard! I suppose if that were the case, they wouldn't be valued so highly anymore. But it's nice to dream...
This is the second-largest diamond ever found in recorded history, second only to the diamond named "Cullinan," which was a whopping 3,106 carats before it was cut and polished. Cullinan was found in South Africa in 1905, so this newest edition to the diamond Hall of Fame is truly a once-in-a-century occasion.
Lucara has supposedly rejected an offer of $40 million for the rock, but the company wants to spend more time analyzing its value before selling the diamond. It'll be interesting to see what the final price comes out to!

Here at Orlando Jewelry Buyers, we are happy to buy your diamonds! Don't worry, your diamonds don't have to be record-breakers for us to love them!
